We’ll bring our pops to production and film shoots, wellness retreats, brand activations, workshops, kids birthdays and other childrens events, bridal showers, baby showers, retail launch parties, special occasions of all kinds, retail collaborations, work events and more.
About us
Nomad Ice Pops started out as an artisanal ice pop and paleta store in San Gabriel, CA just south of Pasadena and 20 minutes east of Los Angeles. Over time, the company began to focus on serving the small-batch custom order market. Whatever your pop vision is, we’d love to hear about it. We love to work with our clients to create custom popsicles of all kinds, whether they’re branded or custom colors and flavors. We love catering events with our artisan pops, which can be created to fit your brand activation or event in a variety of ways.

An ice pop is a broad term used to describe any frozen confection on a stick. Our ice pops are made with real fruit, water, and sugar. All of our ingredients are 100% natural. The vast majority of our pops are fruit-based, but occasionally we work with dairy if a client requests it.
A paleta is Mexican form of an ice pop, they tend to come in a rectangle shape, and they come in a range of both fruity and dairy-based flavors.
Unilever owns the word "popsicle." Their popsicles are made out of sugar syrup and artificial colors and flavors.

For custom sticks, we need three weeks. Same with custom bags. The most common form of a custom bag is a custom sticker placed on a clear plastic bag.
If you do not want custom sticks or custom bags, we can often move quite a bit more quickly and it just depends on our current production calendar so get in touch to find out.

For both co-packing and catering jobs, most people approach us with a pretty open mind about flavors. We recently launched a brand called Sungold Ice Pops, and often we start the conversation by going through the Sungold flavors and thinking about spin-offs of those.
Some people drive out to our shop in San Gabriel to try samples. Some people only care about color and just want to see pictures. Other people have tried Sungold pops and already know they're happy with what we do. Still others have their own recipes that they want us to use.

While we make pops mostly for clients within driving distance of our shop in San Gabriel, just east of Los Angeles, we do sometimes ship our pops to customers nation wide. Large orders can be put on a freezer truck, though of course that takes time. Smaller orders are packed with dry ice and shipped overnight.
